Cameroon Meeting Strengthens Collaboration between University Hospital Bonn and University of Buea in eWHORM Project

In early August, partners from the eWHORM consortium, specifically University Hospital Bonn and the University of Buea, convened in Cameroon at the Manjo Medical Research Centre within the University of Buea. This meeting provided an opportunity for these partners to discuss the implementation of Work Packages 3 and 4, which include defining the on-site requirements for conducting the clinical PoC sub-studies, establishing a biobank, and taking the initial steps in the LAMP assays.

The eWHORM coordinator, Prof. Dr. Marc Hübner, and his team engaged in productive discussions with the Work Package 4 Leader, Prof. Samuel Wanji, in Buea. They look forward to strengthening their collaboration within eWHORM, with the overarching goal of enhancing and harmonising diagnostic expertise for the studied diseases.
